It has been over a WHOLE month since I have shared anything with all of you, my beloved people. I won’t say I am completely back, as the semester is now in FULL GEAR which means I must CONCENTRATE as much as possible. I will promise however to share anything AWESOME that I come across like this wonderful book “How to be Black” by Baratunde Thurston. I have yet to read the book but from the comments that I have read and from the very fact that the man is a fist up intellect as well as a COMEDIAN, there is no way I am not going to appreciate this good read. Check out his interview on NPR here and if you have read the book, let me know what you appreciate or not about it. CIAO lovers.

Beyond passionately fulfilling my everyday work responsibilities, and working on my dissertation, I enjoy daydreaming, writing to do lists on sticky notes, and skittishly studying French. I spend most of my spare time in church activities, catching up on some leisure and academic reading, hanging with friends, watching garbage TV shows, reflecting on running, reading a plethora off beat blogs, sewing, attempting to paint, writing poetry, public speaking and writing on this blog.
