One of my absolute favorites quotes, which so happens to be by my namesake, a woman who tirelessly fought for the rights of others, Eleanor Roosevelt, maintains:

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

I am at a point in my life where I am challenging myself to many many things! There is a certain passion and energy burning inside of me that is daily moving me in the direction of my dreams!

There is a reignited sense of purpose inside of me that I am everyday praying will continue to burn, as I move across and navigate life, in all it’s challenges and triumphs!

Even as I encounter moments of fear, I hold on to the promise of God which is that I should not be anxious about anything! As I fight and pray away any traces of doubt knocking at my heart’s door,  I hold on to the promise of “for I know the plans I have for you.”

Therefore, today I start the journey of doing the very thing which I thought I could not do. Today, I open, far and a wide, a door which fear and doubt did not want me to explore. Today, I walk across a path; my own road not taken. Today, I joyfully recognize one set of footprints, for I know the One who is carrying me. Today, I start a journey to a dream, which I know will unfold many many others.

Today, I introduce my very first Unraveling the Mind V-Blog, and I ask you to join me! As I live as a dreamer and a believer, I encourage you to do the same!

Whatever you have been putting off to do, stop making excuses! Join me in doing the very things we think we cannot! Those things that scare us the most, are the ones that hold the power to completely transform us!
