歴史は古く1950年代の中ごろから1970年代の中ごろまでアメリカ海軍（US NAVY）で採用されていたジャケットで、当時の呼び名はG-8ジャケット。 
 
G-8ジャケットやゴンズジャケットなどの様々な呼び名があるけどすべて同じジャケットです。 
 
1950年代の後半からはラベルに表記されている「WEP」の文字からWEP JAKCKETとも呼ばれています。 
 
こちらは70年代のモデルを本革にて再現したレザージャケット。 
USA製でマッコイやバズリクソンズなどもレザーのG-8はリリースしてないと思うので希少かと思います。 
 
サイズも46のロングと合わせやすいゴールデンサイズで 
リブにダメージもなくオススメです。
