ブランド立ち上げ当初のモデル『OP-5』（オプテックジャパン期） 
 
1991年に作られたOP-5はオリバーピープルズの代表的なラウンドシェイプのメガネです。バートンペレイラ『THOREAU』より縦幅が広く横幅が狭い、よりラウンドを強く意識いたシェイプ。 
今でも色褪せることのないデザインは流行とは別の領域にいます。 
ブリッジやリム部分の調金柄、加えて抱え込みパットはまさにヴィンテージをそのまま再現したプロダクト。
